Liping Wen received his M.S. degree in organic chemistry from Liaoning Normal University in 2007, where he studied the synthesis, characterization and biological activities of ciprouoxacin derivatives. Then he joined Prof. Lei Jiang's group as a PhD candidate, and received PhD in physical chemistry from ICCAS in 2010. From 1997 to 2004, as a teacher he worked at a middle school in Harbin. Then he studied in Liaoning Normal University with Prof. Yingjun Li. In 2010, he worked as an assistant professor in ICCAS. Then he worked in Prof. Iyoda's Lab as a visiting scholar in Japan for three month. In 2013, he worked as associate professor in ICCAS. His scientific interest is focused on the construction and application of bio-inspired 1D nanomaterials and over 20 papers have been published.
