Self-Assembled Organic Solar Cells

Our group proposes that the primary-secondary forces of donor/accepter material can be used to construct micro-/nano-structured self-assembled films, and thus provide an optimized approach to realize high performance photovoltaic devices based on small organic molecules. The greatly improved change separation, transport and collection may help in breaking the bottleneck of photon conversion efficiency in current organic solar cells.
